Green Salad PDF Print E-mail

This recipe is cheap and easy to make.

Ingredients

* 1 head romaine lettuce
* 3 Tbs. virgin olive oil
* 1 Tbs. wine vinegar
* salt to taste

Directions

Trim lettuce, discarding outer leaves and any that are bruised. Wash them in cool water. Dry. Tear lettuce into bite-size pieces. Place lettuce in a large salad bowl. Drizzle with the oil and toss well. In a small bowl, whisk together vinegar and salt until salt has dissolved. Pour vinegar over the salad and toss again. Serve.
